Job summary

Confidential Company in Abu Dhabi seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer to manage rehabilitation of PS-01 pumping station electrical works. You will plan, supervise and coordinate MV/LV distribution, switchgear, MCCs and control systems, ensuring safe, on-schedule execution.

Responsibilities include interface coordination with mechanical, SCADA and commissioning teams, review of drawings and submittals, and leadership of site engineers, technicians and subcontractors in a brownfield project

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in electrical engineering from a recognized university.
• 15+ years overall electrical engineering/construction experience.
• 8–10 years in construction management/leadership roles.
• Experience with pumping stations, water/utility projects or large MEP/EPC schemes.
• Knowledge of MV/LV power distribution and protection systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction activities for rehabilitation projects.
• Plan, supervise and coordinate electrical installation per drawings and schedules.
• Oversee MV/LV distribution, transformers, switchgear and MCCs.
• Supervise testing/commissioning of electrical systems on large pumping assets.
• Coordinate interfaces with mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, control and SCADA teams.
• Review shop drawings, submittals, ITPs and construction documentation.
• Ensure work meets project specs, international standards and UAE regs.
• Lead site resources, subcontractors and safety practices.
