This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior E&I Engineer to join our UAE Business Unit.

Wood has been awarded an Onshore Project to support an International Client operation by providing Engineering Services plus Project Management, Supply Chain, Construction, Commissioning, EPC Management support both within Iraq and Dubai offices. The Vision of this Contract is to enhance the production by delivering Greenfield and Brownfield modification projects that include new installations as well as a series of modifications to the existing facilities. A team of Engineers and Designers based in Dubai and Basra supports the execution of these projects.

Key Objectives
- Focal point for vendors for all E&I procurement packages.
- Expedite PMRV / MTO issuance in coordination with discipline engineers and project lead, in line with project schedule.
- Support engineering disciplines to identify alternate materials in the warehouse, liaising with warehouse personnel.
- Expedite Material Requisition (MR) issuance in coordination with discipline engineers, project control, and procurement, in line with schedule.
- Support bid receipt and notify Project Leads of delays affecting the project.
- Prioritize and expedite purchase orders daily with procurement for contract and non-contract items.
- Coordinate with Engineering for TBE report issuance and notify project leads of delays.
- Monitor MSR Material status report and package movement to track schedule adherence.
- Coordinate technical queries and deviation requests with vendors and procurement, expediting responses and notifying delays.
- Organize Kick-off Meetings with procurement and vendors, closing open points and issuing minutes.
- Expedite submission of vendor documents, critical engineering documents, and manage SDRs.
- Coordinate vendor and QA/QC activities including PIM, vendor documentation, and delivery tracking.
- Follow-up on technical issues, schedule slips, and negotiate delivery recovery plans.
- Update project teams on package statuses and technical issues.
- Manage site queries and coordinate with internal disciplines and clients.
Governance
- Participate in weekly procurement status reviews.
- Conduct weekly vendor progress calls, prepare minutes, and follow-ups.
- Review and issue progress reports and monitor documentation receipt and return.
- Visit suppliers as requested and demonstrate commitment to safety and company values.
- Contribute to post-order supplier evaluations.

Expected
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Instrumentation or Electrical
- 8-15 years of industry experience
- Strong soft and written English skills
- At least 5 years of E&I Package Management experience in Oil and Gas
- Previous experience in similar roles
- Expediting experience with packages like Remote Instrument Enclosures, Control Rooms, E-houses, etc.
- Knowledge of project procurement execution and supply chain practices
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
