Job summary

ADNOC in Abu Dhabi seeks a senior Drilling Engineer to lead Lump Sum Turnkey campaigns for Biogenic Shallow Gas, spanning planning, execution, and cost control. You will direct integrated project teams, approve well programs and AFEs, and work closely with Petroleum, Reservoir and Petrophysics teams.

Requires 8+ years in drilling/workover, offshore experience, UAE OPCO exposure, and proficiency with drilling software (Landmark preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years drilling/workover experience.
• Experience with UAE OPCOs preferred.
• Experience in offshore and office drilling activities.
• Experience in drilling technologies UBD, MPD, CTD, and ERD.
• Proficient with drilling software; Landmark preferred.
• Experience in business planning (Wells/Drilling Operations).
• Proven ability to lead drilling teams in operations or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Set and manage Lump Sum Turnkey campaign scope of work and related activities.
• Report on drilling and well ops to ensure conformity with plan.
• Lead Drilling Integrated Project Management teams for ADNOC wells.
• Endorse and approve drilling programs, well plans and AFEs.
• Define Full Field Development Plans in collaboration with engineers.
• Advise Exploration on planning, prognosis and technical requirements.
