• Strong understanding of local authority requirements and industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on client and consultant feedback.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Maintain drawing accuracy and version control.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in Sharjah. The Senior Draughtsman will play a key role in preparing and reviewing detailed technical drawings, plans, and schematics for MEP works. The role requires close collaboration with engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure precision, compliance with standards, and alignment with project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed MEP drawings and shop drawings using AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.
• Revise and update drawings based on client and consultant feedback.
• Coordinate with engineering and project teams to resolve design conflicts.
• Maintain drawing accuracy, version control, and proper documentation.
• Support the project team during submissions and approvals with authorities.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure integration and completeness of drawings.

Qualification and Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other drafting software.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and technical drafting standards.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience as a Draughtsman, preferably in the MEP contracting industry.
• Diploma or Degree in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
