Job summary

AL Marwan General Contracting Company in the UAE is seeking a Senior Draftsman to join our Infrastructure Project Team. The candidate will deliver high-quality shop, IFC and as-built drawings for road and infrastructure works, coordinating with engineers, consultants, and site teams.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of UAE experience, a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting, and strong AutoCAD skills (Civil 3D a plus).

Qualifications

• Minimum 6+ years of proven experience as a Draftsman in road & infrastructure projects within the UAE.
• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD; Civil 3D is a plus.
• Experience with roads, highways, utilities, drainage systems.
• Knowledge of UAE authority standards and construction practices.
• Ability to prepare shop drawings, IFC drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and update shop drawings, IFC drawings, and as-built drawings in accordance with project requirements.
• Coordinate closely with engineers, consultants, and site teams to resolve design and technical queries.
• Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, authority requirements, and industry standards.
• Provide timely and accurate drawing support to facilitate smooth site execution.
• Maintain proper drawing registers, revisions, and document control.

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise and hands‑on experience in UAE road and infrastructure projects, supporting design coordination and site execution with high-quality drawings and locations as required.

Key Requirements

• Minimum 6+ years of proven experience as a Draftsman in road & infrastructure projects within the UAE


• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or Drafting


• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (knowledge of Civil 3D is an added advantage)


• Extensive experience in roads, highways, utilities, drainage systems, and infrastructure layouts


• Solid understanding of U.A.E authority standards, regulations, and construction practices


• Ability to independently prepare and manage shop drawings, IFC drawings, as-built drawings, and coordination drawings


• Strong attention to detail and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams
