Job summary

Juma Al Majid Holding Group L.L.C. seeks an experienced Joinery Draughtsman to produce detailed shop drawings for bespoke interior fit-out projects and to develop drawings for custom furniture and joinery items.

The role involves reviewing design drawings, coordinating with design and production teams, and preparing cutting lists and schedules while managing revisions and site verification of dimensions. UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor7s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 417 years of experience as a Joinery Draughtsman in interior fit-out or joinery manufacturing.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed shop drawings for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Develop detailed drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, reception counters, wall paneling, doors, partitions, and other joinery items.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings to produce accurate manufacturing drawings.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, production teams, and site engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware schedules for production.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and resolve installation issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure all revisions are properly documented.

• Prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and installation drawings for bespoke joinery and interior fit-out projects.
• Develop detailed drawings for custom furniture, wardrobes, kitchens, vanities, reception counters, wall paneling, doors, partitions, and other joinery items.
• Review architectural and interior design drawings to produce accurate manufacturing drawings.
• Prepare detailed sections, elevations, plans, and fabrication details.
• Coordinate with designers, project managers, production teams, and site engineers to resolve technical issues.
• Review project specifications and ensure drawings comply with client requirements and approved material specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement teams regarding hardware, accessories, and material requirements.
• Revise drawings based on consultant comments, design changes, and site conditions.
• Prepare cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware schedules for production.
• Coordinate with CNC programming and factory production teams when required.
• Conduct site visits to verify dimensions and resolve installation issues.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure all revisions are properly documented.
• Support project handover by preparing as-built drawings where required.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor\'s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, Furniture Design, Drafting, or a related field.
• Minimum 4–7 years of experience as a Joinery Draughtsman in interior fit-out or joinery manufacturing.
• UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
