Job summary

Follett Software seeks a senior engineering leader to steer domestic and international Library Management products and the Destiny platform. You will set an engineering vision aligned to product strategy and drive architectural modernization while coaching managers and engineers.

The role requires deep experience delivering SaaS/web applications, leadership of large teams, and strong collaboration with Product, Design, Security, QA, and Cloud teams to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/SE/IT or related field.
• 12+ years of software development leadership experience.
• Proven success leading large or multi-product engineering functions with people leaders as direct reports.
• Experience delivering commercial SaaS or web application products.
• Technical depth in Java, J2EE, .Net, SQL Server, JavaScript, and Git-based workflows.
• Experience leading modernization efforts from legacy technologies to scalable architectures.
• Familiarity with Azure or comparable cloud platforms and CI/CD practices.
