Job summary

Kingston Stanley is seeking an accomplished senior engineering leader to define and drive the company’s technology strategy in Dubai. You will oversee software development, architecture, DevOps, and delivery, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions.

You will guide cross-functional teams, set governance standards, and manage budgets and resources while partnering with product and security leadership to execute on roadmaps.

Qualifications

10+ years software/engineering experience with 5+ years in senior leadership.
Proven ability to lead large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
Strong understanding of security, compliance and governance.
Experience with strategic planning, budgeting and resource allocation.
Excellent executive communication and decision-making skills.
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.

Responsibilities

Define and execute the engineering strategy aligned with business objectives and product roadmaps.
Lead multiple engineering teams across software development, architecture, DevOps and technical delivery.
Own technical decisions around scalable, high-performance and secure software architecture.
Establish coding, architecture, engineering quality and governance standards.
Partner with Product, UX, DevOps, Security and leadership to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Drive modernization, legacy transformation and technical debt reduction.
Ensure system reliability, performance monitoring and operational excellence.
Embed security, authentication, access control and data protection across practices.
Mentor engineering managers and leaders through performance management and development.
Manage engineering budgets, resources, risks and strategic planning.

Partner closely with Product, UX, DevOps, Security and senior leadership to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Drive modernization, legacy system transformation, refactoring and technical debt reduction.
Ensure system reliability, availability, performance monitoring and operational excellence.
Embed security, authentication, access control, data protection and compliance across engineering practices.
Lead engineering managers and technical leaders through mentorship, performance management and organizational development.
Manage engineering budgets, resources, risks and strategic planning.

Must-Have Experience & Skills

10+ years of software/engineering experience, with 5+ years in senior engineering leadership/management.
