Position Overview:

NCH is seeking a strategic, commercially oriented, and forward-thinking Senior Finance Director to lead its finance function and play a pivotal role in the company’s continued growth and transformation journey. This is a high impact leadership role reporting directly to the CEOs, with a clear trajectory toward becoming Chief Financial Officer (CFO).

The successful candidate will drive financial strategy, operational excellence, and cross-functional alignment, supporting top-line growth, bottom-line profitability and working capital optimization. They will serve as a senior business partner to the executive team, providing guidance on pricing, key account profitability, investment decisions and commercial negotiations. The role requires the ability to lead strategic engagements, including managing consultants, external auditors, corporate tax authorities, cross-functional projects and digital reporting transformation.

This role is ideal for a finance leader with deep industry experience in healthcare distribution (pharmaceuticals and nutraceuticals preferred), who combines technical excellence, commercial acumen and strong leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Act as a key strategic partner to the CEOs and executive leadership, aligning financial strategy with business objectives and corporate vision.
  • Lead and participate in high-level strategic discussions with consultants, auditors, and tax authorities.
  • Guide long-term planning, business modeling, and investment prioritization across divisions.
  • Represent finance in executive reviews, board discussions and strategic initiatives.

Commercial Profitability & Business Partnering

  • Lead financial analysis of key accounts and categories, driving visibility on margin performance and enabling data-driven BDA (Business Development Agreement) discussions.
  • Partner with commercial teams to guide pricing strategies, ensuring alignment with growth, profitability and market positioning goals.
  • Enable evaluations on ROI of trade spend, promotions and BDAs, and ensure commercial decisions are financially sound.

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting across all business units.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and insight-driven monthly closings and board-level reporting.
  • Champion the digital transformation of finance through Power BI, dashboards, and ERP finance module optimization.

Tax, Audit & External Engagements

  • Lead corporate tax and VAT implementation, ensuring compliance with all local tax regulations.
  • Manage end-to-end relationships with external auditors, consultants, and tax advisors, ensuring audits and filings are completed with accuracy and transparency.
  • Serve as a key liaison in financial engagements involving third parties.

Working Capital & Risk Management

  • Oversee working capital performance with a focus on optimizing inventory, receivables, and payables.
  • Monitor and manage liquidity and lead risk mitigation initiatives across treasury and operational finance.
  • Support strategic capital allocation and financing strategies in alignment with business priorities.

Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Engagement

  • Lead and mentor the finance team, building a high-performance culture focused on accuracy, agility, and commercial support.
  • Drive cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Supply Chain, HR, Regulatory, and Marketing teams.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 10–15 years of progressive finance experience, including at least 5 years in a senior leadership capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field and CFA, CPA, CIMA, or CMA. MBA from a renowned top-tier global business school is preferred.
  • Strong background in healthcare, pharmaceutical, or nutraceutical sectors is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated success in driving profitability, commercial finance and strategic pricing.
  • Hands-on experience with corporate tax, VAT, audits, and financial regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, ERP systems and digital finance tools.
  • Exposure to international markets and digital transformation
