Job description

We are looking for a motivated, hands-on Sr. Digital Solutions Specialist who is excited about improving healthcare through technology. The core hospital software is developed and supported in-house, giving the post holder an opportunity to work directly with users and help shape solutions that improve hospital operations and patient services.

This is a practical functional and delivery role, not an enterprise architecture position. The post holder will lead requirements discussions, define and manage the agreed scope, coordinate with internal development and testing teams, and remain involved until the solution is successfully delivered.

The Post Holder Will:
Requirements and Solution Scoping
  • Engage with RCM, finance, front-office, patient experience, and other hospital teams to understand operational needs and challenges.
  • Lead workshops and document requirements, workflows, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Review existing processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
  • Define solution scope, priorities, dependencies, and expected outcomes.
  • Align stakeholders on priorities and maintain a shared understanding of the proposed solution.
Solution Ownership and Delivery
  • Own assigned requirements and scope from initial discussion through final delivery.
  • Collaborate with product, software development, testing, integration, data, and support teams.
  • Clarify functional requirements, review proposed workflows, and support delivery decisions.
  • Coordinate business reviews, demonstrations, testing, implementation, and go-live readiness.
  • Monitor progress, risks, issues, and scope changes, escalating when necessary.
  • Support post-go-live stabilization and identify further improvement opportunities.
Revenue Cycle Management
  • Support solutions covering eligibility, prior authorization, coding, billing, claims, denials, resubmission, reconciliation, collections, and revenue integrity.
  • Translate payer, coding, regulatory, and operational requirements into clear system requirements.
  • Improve RCM workflows through validation, automation, notifications, work allocation, and enhanced visibility.
  • Support initiatives that improve claim quality, reduce avoidable denials, and strengthen revenue controls.
  • Help define meaningful RCM dashboards and operational reports.
Digital and Broader Healthcare Solutions
  • Contribute to mobile applications, patient portals, CRM, contact-centre, front-office, and patient-engagement solutions.
  • Support digital journeys such as appointment booking, registration, check-in, notifications, online payments, and patient-service workflows.
  • Contribute to solutions across patient access, laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other hospital operations, depending on priorities.
  • Collaborate with subject-matter experts where deeper domain expertise is required.
Testing, Adoption, and Teamwork
  • Develop test scenarios and coordinate functional and user acceptance testing.
  • Ensure delivered functionality meets the agreed business requirements and scope.
  • Support user communication, training, go-live activities, and early-life support.
  • Build positive working relationships across hospital and technology teams.
  • Communicate project progress clearly and consistently.
  • Share knowledge and support colleagues involved in solution delivery.
Experience and Selection Criteria

1. Must Have: Revenue Cycle Management

  • Practical experience with healthcare RCM processes or RCM software products.
  • Good understanding of core areas such as authorization, coding, billing, claims, denials, resubmission, reconciliation, or collections.
  • Experience engaging with RCM users to understand their needs and translate operational challenges into practical solution requirements.
  • Strong experience in key RCM areas with a willingness to learn; expertise across the entire revenue cycle is not required.

2. Essential: Digital Solution Delivery

  • Experience contributing to the delivery or improvement of software or digital solutions.
  • Experience gathering requirements and collaborating with business and technology teams.
  • Ability to document workflows, business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Experience supporting solutions through development, testing, implementation, or go-live.
  • Relevant experience may come from business analysis, product management, implementation, applications, consulting, project delivery, or operational improvement roles.

3. Required: Healthcare Environment

  • Experience working within a hospital, healthcare provider, payer, or healthcare technology environment.
  • Understanding of how healthcare users and operational teams interact with software systems.
  • UAE healthcare experience is advantageous.
  • Candidates with strong healthcare experience from other markets and an interest in learning the UAE healthcare environment may also be considered.

4. Preferred: Broader Healthcare Solutions

  • Experience in one or more healthcare areas beyond RCM, including:
    • Patient access and front-office operations
    • Mobile applications and patient portals
    • CRM and patient engagement
    • Laboratory, radiology, or pharmacy systems
    • Other hospital systems and digital solutions
  • Broader healthcare solution experience is preferred but not mandatory.

5. Nice to Have: Data and Analytics

  • Experience defining dashboards, operational reports, or performance measures.
  • Familiarity with healthcare or RCM KPIs, reporting requirements, data quality, or self-service analytics.
Key Skills
  • Revenue Cycle Management knowledge
  • Requirements gathering and business analysis
  • Process and workflow mapping
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Practical problem-solving
  • Collaboration and stakeholder management
  • Ownership and follow-through
  • Curiosity and willingness to learn
  • Interest in healthcare technology and digital transformation
  • Ability to collaborate with both hospital users and software teams
What Success Looks Like
  • Hospital users feel heard and understood.
  • Requirements are clear and detailed enough for the software team to deliver effectively.
  • The agreed scope remains visible and controlled from initial discussion through final delivery.
  • Business and technology teams collaborate effectively.
  • Solutions address genuine RCM and hospital operational needs.
  • Users are prepared and supported during solution implementation and go-live.
  • User feedback is captured and used to improve the in-house product continuously.
Who Will Succeed in This Role
  • Someone with practical RCM knowledge who enjoys understanding how users work.
  • Someone capable of translating business discussions and operational challenges into clear solution requirements.
  • Candidates who meet the core RCM requirements and are enthusiastic about the opportunity are encouraged to apply, even if they do not have experience in every solution area listed.
