Senior Digital Program Specialist - Application Security (Base in Beijing)

The Information Technology Department (ITD) provides technical services including digital services, cybersecurity, IT risk management, data management, and digital transformation. The department aims to align IT strategies with the bank’s goals, foster a digital culture, and ensure secure daily banking operations.

AIIB seeks a highly skilled Senior Digital Program Specialist in Application Security to ensure the security of the bank's applications. The role requires expertise in secure software development, application architecture, and integrating security throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

1. Define and oversee the Application Security framework, integrating security into all software development stages.
2. Collaborate with architects, developers, and cross-functional teams on secure application design and security requirements.
3. Conduct threat modeling and security reviews for applications.
4. Perform static and dynamic code reviews to identify vulnerabilities.
5. Lead automated security testing initiatives and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
6. Ensure applications meet compliance, security requirements, and industry standards such as ISO and OWASP.
7. Work with project managers and stakeholders to align security initiatives with business goals and promote security awareness.
8. Support cybersecurity incident response related to applications.
9. Monitor and improve application security processes based on industry trends and threats.
10. Define key risk and control indicators for application security and support audits and testing.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
2. 8-10 years of experience in application security, preferably in financial institutions.
3. Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., .NET/C#, Java, JavaScript, Python).
4. Experience with security tools like SAST, DAST, IAST, RASP.
5. Deep knowledge of secure coding, application architecture, microservices, APIs, and cloud-native design.
6. Understanding of security standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK.
7. Security certifications like CISSP, CSSLP, OSWE, or relevant cloud certifications are a plus.
8. Strong business acumen, communication skills, and fluency in English.
9. Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and influence stakeholders.
