Job summary

Progressive is seeking an experienced Senior Digital Drilling Solutions Consultant to support digital drilling, well engineering, and performance initiatives for a major operator in the UAE. The role requires strong drilling domain expertise, data management, and digital well planning capabilities across the well lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have 8+ years in oil and gas, experience with drilling software platforms, and a track record of driving data quality and operational efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• 8+ years in oil and gas with drilling domain expertise.
• Experience with drilling software platforms, digital drilling technologies, or well planning solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide subject matter expertise for digital drilling and well engineering solutions.
• Support implementation and adoption of drilling and well planning technologies.
• Collaborate with drilling teams to improve planning, execution, and post-well analysis workflows.
• Manage and govern drilling and well data integration.
• Analyze operational drilling performance and identify optimization opportunities.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including drilling, geology, IT, and software development.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs and technical solutions.
• Support configuration, deployments, testing, and user acceptance activities.
• Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and stakeholder engagement.
• Contribute to digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives.
• Develop reports, dashboards, workflows, and data-driven recommendations.
