Job summary

Client of Salt seeks a hands-on DevOps Site Reliability Engineer to build and operate the foundations for enterprise apps, workflow platforms, and AI products. You will own deployment automation, runtime reliability, observability, and secure IaC across critical integrations.

You will design secure environments, manage containers and Kubernetes, and automate pipelines to accelerate releases while ensuring production readiness and fault tolerance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE or cloud platform engineering.
• Hands-on with Azure/AWS/GCP and container orchestration.
• Strong Linux, networking fundamentals, incident management and IAM.
• Proficient in IaC and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain cloud infra using IaC and secure environments.
• Manage containerized workloads and Kubernetes deployments.
• Define standard deployment patterns for apps and AI services.
• Implement secrets and config management; manage identity and access requirements.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines and environment provisioning.
• Reduce deployment drift; improve release frequency and reliability.
• Establish logging, metrics, tracing and alerting; build health dashboards.
• Lead incident response and root cause analysis in production.
• Enforce least-privilege access and auditability; security checks in pipelines.
• Collaborate with security for enterprise controls; ensure resilience through DR planning.
