Senior Development Manager

Role Focus : We need experienced individuals who understand and can manage the full property development cycle from initial feasibility and concept stages through design, authority approvals, marketing, sales / leasing, construction, and final project delivery / handover.

Requirements : Proven experience in successfully delivering property development projects is crucial, along with a strong understanding of the Abu Dhabi market.

Key Responsibilities :

• Leading teams of consultants and providing direction to stakeholders involved to ensure project targets are met.
• Internal and external stakeholder management, collaborating closely with internal departments including project delivery, strategy, finance, procurement, sales, marketing, and legal to ensure that projects meet the company's overall goals and objectives.
• Developing project design briefs and scopes outlining key project objectives and parameters aligning with project feasibility and business case.
• Conducting design reviews throughout the project lifecycle to ensure consultant outcomes meet project budget, time, and quality.
• Managing project budgets and ensuring the team is working efficiently towards delivering within budget.
• Incorporating relevance to market construction & design trends, technologies, and operational efficiency tools into the organization's projects.
• Ensuring compliance with building codes and regulations.
• Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients, investors, consultants, contractors, government authorities, and Senior Management.
• Collaborating with operators and stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure design alignment with business goals.
• Ensuring project milestones are met within time and budget.
• Managing project cashflow, contractor payments, and variations.
• Identifying project risks and setting out a mitigation plan.

Required Qualifications & Experience :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering / Master's degree.
• A minimum of 10 years post-graduate experience in the industry.
• Proven project management experience working on various project scales on the Client (developer) side.
• A proven track record of delivering high-quality development management services across the full project lifecycle.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload and work effectively within a team.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent technical background.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Knowledge of UAE authority regulations.
• Proficient in MS Programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
