Job summary

A global well-being company in Dubai is looking for an SAP EWM ABAP Consultant to handle ABAP developments within its IT department. The role requires extensive experience in SAP integration and performance analysis. In this position, you will work closely with functional consultants and be involved in a variety of technical tasks including eCommerce integration and code pushdown to HANA environment.

What you'll be doing:

The SAP EWM ABAP Consultant is responsible for EWM and S/4HANA ABAP developments within GMG IT.

What we need:

• Actively interact with functional consultants and end users to discover, design, and develop solutions.
• Development experience in ALV reports, implicit and explicit enhancements, ALE/IDocs, RFC, function groups.
• Design, develop, and support integration with third-party systems using RFC, proxy, SOAP, REST, OData services, IDOCs, etc.
• Conduct performance analysis and tuning using debugging tools like runtime analysis, SQL trace, and HANA profiling.
• Experience in code pushdown to HANA environment using AMDP, CDS.
• Knowledge in HR ABAP, including payroll-related programming and HR functions.
• Design and develop data dictionary objects such as data elements, domains, structures, views, lock objects, and search helps.
• Hands-on experience with BADIs, enhancements, SAP Scripts, Smart Forms, and Adobe Forms.
• Develop technical specifications and presentations.
• Experience in eCommerce integration with SAP and understanding of SAP IS retail, MM, and SD processes.
• Knowledge of Process Orchestration, EWM ABAP, S/4HANA implementation, and Fiori app extensions is a plus.

Functional/Technical Competencies:

• EWM RF programs
• EWM ABAP development focusing on EWM & ECC
• EWM printer determination for custom action profiles
• EWM TU loading checks, put-away processes, inventory recounting, and HU labeling

Educational Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or relevant field.
• SAP Developer/ABAP certification preferred.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on SAP ABAP experience.
