Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking a senior IT professional to develop, enhance, and maintain the iBank onboarding platform. You will translate business requirements into technical solutions and support both production and non-production environments with incident, problem, and change management.

The role requires hands-on experience with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, databases, and DevOps pipelines, plus the ability to coordinate deployments and collaborate across business, operations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering; Master’s preferred in IT/Management.
• Relevant industry certifications; Scrum/Agile/PM certifications desirable.
• 5+ years IT experience in Banking/Financial Services with onboarding exposure.
• Hands-on in designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting enterprise web apps.
• Strong knowledge of Angular, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, databases, monitoring tools.
• Experience supporting prod/non-prod, incident/problem/change management, RCA.
• Ability to mentor and collaborate across teams; security/regulatory awareness.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the iBank onboarding platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support production and non-production environments including incidents and changes.
• Investigate defects, performance issues, and integrations.
• Coordinate deployments, releases, and post-release validations.
• Collaborate with business, operations, compliance, and infrastructure teams.
• Perform root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Ensure availability, security, and compliance with bank standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and runbooks.
• Participate in CAB, DR, and audit/compliance activities.
