Job summary

GDIT is seeking an experienced front-end leader to develop high-performance ReactJS applications for cloud deployments. You will collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into components, build reusable front-end libraries, and optimize performance and scalability in cloud environments.

The role requires 10+ years in IT solutions with strong ReactJS/JavaScript and 7+ years in UX design thinking, plus TypeScript, Redux/Context API, and Agile DevSecOps experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related major.
• 10+ years of IT solutions and cloud infrastructure experience.
• 7+ years in UX Design with Design Thinking and Principles.
• At least 7 years of ReactJS/JavaScript experience.
• Experience with TypeScript.

• Experience with Redux or Context API.
• Experience in Agile DevSecOps environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering, UI/UX Design or relevant computer-based major
• 10+ years of experience in developing IT solutions and cloud infrastructures
• Minimum of 7 years of strong experience in UX Design, including a deep understanding of UX Design Thinking and Principles
• At least 7 years of experience with ReactJS and JavaScript
• Experience working with TypeScript
• Proficiency with CSS, Tailwind, and related technologies
• Experience with state management libraries such as Redux or Context API
• Experience working in an Agile development environment using DevSecOps principles and tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate or Professional level certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS)
• Experience in UI/UX design, with a focus on Human-Centered Design principles
• Experience with server-side Node.js development
• Knowledge of server-side rendering framework such as Next.js
• Experience writing Unit Tests for JavaScript frameworks
• Familiarity with GraphQL and RESTful APIs
