Job summary

Commercial Bank of Dubai is seeking an experienced IT professional to lead the development and ongoing enhancement of the iBank onboarding platform in Dubai. You will translate complex business requirements into scalable technical solutions and closely collaborate with business, operations, compliance, and infrastructure teams.

The role requires strong hands-on expertise in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, databases, and DevOps pipelines, with 5+ years in Banking or Financial Services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science/Engineering.
• Master’s in Management/IT preferred.
• Relevant industry certifications.
• Scrum/Agile/PM certifications desirable.
• Proficiency in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, APIs, databases, DevOps tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the iBank onboarding platform.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Support production and non-production environments, including incident, problem, and change management.
• Investigate and resolve application defects, performance issues, and integration failures.
• Coordinate deployments, releases, and post-release validations.
• Collaborate with business, operations, compliance, and infrastructure teams.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventive actions.
• Ensure application availability, security, and compliance with bank standards.
• Prepare technical documentation, solution designs, and support runbooks.
• Participate in CAB, DR, and audit/compliance activities.
