Job summary

GHD in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Design Management to lead the design delivery of complex infrastructure and master planning projects. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with local authorities throughout delivery.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, client and stakeholder engagement, and collaboration across pre- and post-contract phases including technical evaluations and tender documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
• PMP certification or equivalent is preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the design process across Infrastructure and master planning projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and regulatory standards.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and external consultants to deliver high-quality, timely outputs.
• Oversee design reviews, approvals, and compliance with local authority requirements (e.g., ADM, ADWEA).
• Manage project schedules, budgets, risks, and change control processes.
• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, including clients, contractors, and government entities.
• Support pre-contract and post-contract phases, including technical evaluations and tender documentation.
