A leading company in construction and consultancy is seeking a project manager to oversee design operations across high-value mixed-use developments in Dubai. This role demands strong leadership, client interaction, and a solid background in high-end hospitality and design management, alongside compliance with local health and safety regulations.

The project:Mace is delivering PMC services across a significant portfolio of high-value mixed-use developments. The projects are at various stages of the development cycle and need to be managed through planning, design, procurement and delivery on what is a multi-year assignment.
You ll be responsible for:
• Manage day-to-day operations of design teams and act as the main client contact for design-related issues.
• Deliver design management to meet strategic outcomes and KPIs.
• Implement design management systems and ensure legal, statutory, and contractual compliance.
• Contribute to long-term strategy and sustainable business development.
• Mentor and develop project teams, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Leverage internal networks and resources to support innovation, business development, and work winning.
• Lead and maintain high standards of safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and compliance across design resources.
• Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and promote well-being, diversity, and inclusion.
You ll need to have:
• A relevant degree qualification.
• Strong high-end hospitality experience in mixed-use schemes.
• Experience working in the United Arab Emirates is essential for client approval.

• Membership of RIBA, MICE, CIBSE, CIOB, RICS, CIAT or equivalent demonstrable professional or personal development.
• Extensive experience in the successful delivery phase of projects and programmes in the construction sector.
• Deep construction and consultancy expertise.
• Knowledge of building safety legislation, building standards, construction contracts, professional appointments and health and safety legislation.
• Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
• Knowledge of how carbon and sustainability considerations will shape the outlook of the projects you are working on.
