Job summary

Parsons is seeking a Senior Design Manager to lead and integrate design teams for complex infrastructure and land development projects in Dubai and the wider region. You will coordinate multidisciplinary design disciplines, mentor managers, and collaborate with project directors to align schedules, technical proposals, and financial planning.

Ideal candidates bring 10+ years of leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a deep understanding of engineering practices and regulations

Qualifications

• Typically 10+ years of related professional experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Proven ability to supervise and manage design teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of current engineering technologies and regulations.
• Understanding of engineering techniques relevant to design assignments.

Responsibilities

• Lead Design Managers and multidisciplinary teams of designers and BIM engineers in the delivery of complex land development projects.
• Liaise with clients and authorities to manage large and medium-sized projects across private and public sectors.
• Provide design direction and coordinate multidisciplinary design teams, including roads, utilities, master planning, landscape, structural and architectural design.
• Mentor and develop Design Managers and Design Leads, ensuring training in design management principles.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on design-related activities, schedule preparation, proposals and financial planning.
