Job summary

Uae Job Alert in Dubai seeks a Design Engineer specializing in thermoforming and GRP parts to drive innovative vehicle components. You will review parts for molding feasibility and prepare detailed 2D and 3D designs for mold blocks.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree and at least 5 years of related design experience, with SolidWorks proficiency. Experience in thermoforming or mold design is highly desirable; you will collaborate with Electric, Manufacturing and Mounting teams to

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related field).
At least 5 years of experience in a related design or engineering role.
Proficiency in SolidWorks or similar CAD software is a must.
Experience with thermoforming, GRP parts, or mold design is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

Review and assess parts designed by the Design Engineering team to ensure suitability for molding or forming processes and recommend modifications.
Prepare detailed designs for blocks required for mold machining, providing 2D and 3D data for manufacturing.
Collaborate with Electric, Manufacturing, and Mounting teams to validate designs and ensure integration.
Utilize 3D scanning and 3D printing to support rapid prototyping.
Perform other engineering-related tasks as directed by the Engineering Manager and Engineering Director.
