Job summary

Ryse Energy International is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design of integrated energy systems, integrating solar PV, wind, storage and controls for global projects. You will own design outcomes, perform electrical design tasks, and contribute to proposals with robust costing and technical rigor.

The role requires hands-on engineering, SLDs and BOM development, and readiness to travel internationally to project sites and surveys.

Qualifications

• 4+ years’ relevant engineering design experience.
• Strong experience across solar PV, BESS and hybrid energy systems.
• Practical electrical design capability and experience with AutoCAD and energy-modelling software.

Responsibilities

• Designing and optimising hybrid and renewable energy systems.
• Developing SLDs, layouts, calculations, equipment specifications and BoQs.
• Using tools such as PVsyst, HOMER Pro and Auto CAD.
• Supporting technical proposals and project costing.
• Working with customers, suppliers and project teams to develop the right solution.
• Getting out from behind the desk when needed – supporting site surveys, installation, testing and commissioning internationally.

We’re hiring: Senior Design Engineer - Integrated Energy Systems

We’re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our international projects team and help design integrated energy systems combining solar PV, wind, battery storage, generators and smart controls.

This is a design-led role with real technical ownership. You’ll take customer requirements and turn them into practical, commercially viable and deliverable energy solutions for grid-connected, off-grid and microgrid projects, across a diverse international portfolio.

What you’ll be doing:

• Designing and optimising hybrid and renewable energy systems
