Job summary

PMK International Consult LLC in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Design Manager to lead multidisciplinary design teams, oversee delivery, and ensure high-quality documentation from concept through construction.

You will manage programmes, budgets, and risk, coordinate with clients and stakeholders, and mentor team members while upholding BIM, HSE standards and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Design, or related discipline.
• Extensive design management experience on mixed-use developments.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary design teams and managing design delivery.
• Strong BIM/CAD knowledge and adherence to design standards.
• Experience managing programmes, resources, budgets, risks, changes and deliverables.
• Excellent client and stakeholder management skills.
• Understanding of HSE and design risk management.
• Experience using AI tools to develop, visualise, and illustrate concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary design teams and oversee design delivery, quality, and coordination.
• Manage design programmes, resources, budgets, and project deliverables.
• Lead client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships, meetings, and presentations.
• Review and coordinate design information, proposals, and technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress, risks, changes, issues, and critical deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements, design standards, BIM, HSE, and relevant regulations.
• Manage scope, information flow, and document control in line with PMKConsult procedures.
• Provide technical guidance, resolve issues, identify improvements, and mentor team members.
