Job summary

Petrofac is seeking a Deputy Manager for Rotating Equipment & Packages to lead multi-discipline engineering teams through concept to detailed design for onshore/offshore projects. You will drive scope, schedules, and cost controls, coordinating with procurement, planning, and clients to deliver compliant solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in mechanical engineering, strong leadership, and hands-on oversight of equipment sizing and package interfaces within an EPC framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering with ~20 years of relevant experience in concept, FEED, EPC and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and lead engineers and designers through proposal and detailed engineering for large/medium projects.
• Review ITT, define scope and technical requirements; identify risks and develop risk registers.
• Plan engineering activities, allocate manpower, and ensure delivery within budget and schedule.
• Coordinate with projects and planning on schedules; manage vendor discussions and procurement support.
• Interface with client/vendor representatives and ensure progress and quality per ISO procedures.
