Job summary

Cinergie Digital is seeking a Senior Database Developer to design, build, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions in an AWS-based environment. The role emphasizes scalable data models, high-volume query optimization, and robust ETL/ELT pipelines, with collaboration across BI and data engineering teams.

You will lead performance tuning, automate processes with Python/PySpark, and mentor junior developers while supporting production deployments in an Agile setting.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in hands-on database development, including at least 5 years in Oracle SQL/PLSQL.
• Strong expertise with Amazon Redshift and AWS data services (S3, Glue, EMR).
• Experience with Dimensional Modeling and high-volume data integration pipelines.
• Proficient in Python/PySpark for data processing and workflow automation.
• Git proficiency and experience delivering features in Agile teams.
• Hands-on with BI/Reporting tools: Power BI, MicroStrategy, or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise data warehouse solutions.
• Develop and optimize stored procedures, functions, and views to support core business logic.
• Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT processes to integrate data from diverse sources.
• Lead performance tuning, indexing, and partitioning strategies for high-volume environments.
• Automate database processes and monitoring with Python/PySpark.
• Collaborate with BI analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specs.
• Manage deployments, conduct code reviews, and provide 24/7 production support including incident management.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to technical strategy within Agile.
