Job summary

CyberGate Defense L.L.C is seeking a Senior Consultant in Data Strategy Governance & DataOps to lead client engagements spanning privacy analytics and AI readiness. You will design integrated data frameworks that satisfy GDPR, UAE data laws, and ISO standards while enabling scalable, secure data capabilities from analytics to deployment.

Collaborate with legal, IT and data teams to ensure data is protected, discoverable and trustworthy.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in data science, computer science, information systems, information security or a related field.
46 years of experience in data privacy, data governance, data architecture, analytics or DataOps, ideally in consulting or regulated industry.
Demonstrated experience in data classification, lineage, mapping and cross-system data flow analysis.
Strong knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, ISO/IEC 27001 & 2771 and UAE data protection frameworks.
Hands-on exposure to cloud data platforms (Microsoft Azure preferred) with tools like Purview, Synapse, Power BI, or Azure Data Factory.
Understanding of DataOps principles: data pipeline automation, testing, monitoring and versioning.

Responsibilities

Lead client engagements bridging privacy analytics and DataOps.
Design and implement enterprise-wide data classification, lineage and mapping frameworks.
Analyse end-to-end data flows across MS 365, Azure, SaaS and on-prem systems.
Develop and maintain RoPA aligned with regulatory and business needs.
Advise on secure data lifecycle management including retention and anonymization.
Collaborate with data engineering to align governance policies with DataOps practices.
Support cloud-based data architectures integrating access control and privacy controls.
Facilitate client workshops on data governance maturity, AI ethics and DataOps adoption.
