Job summary

Al Tayer Group is seeking a Data Strategy and Governance Manager to establish, implement, and continuously improve the enterprise Data Governance, Data Privacy, and Data Compliance framework across the organization.

You will lead the implementation and adoption of the Collibra Data Intelligence Platform, onboarding Data Owners, Data Stewards, Data Custodians, and Data Champions while embedding governance into day-to-day business operations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Strong leadership and executive communication skills.
• Proven track record leading enterprise data governance programs.
• Experience implementing data privacy and regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Experience with Collibra or similar data governance platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise Data Governance standards, policies and controls.
• Lead end-to-end Collibra implementation and adoption.
• Establish data ownership models and governance operating procedures.
• Ensure governance is embedded in new data initiatives and processes.
• Monitor compliance with privacy laws including UAE PDPL, GDPR and other regional regulations.
• Develop governance KPIs and maturity roadmap.
