Job summary

NorthBay Solutions in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Senior Data Governance & Security Specialist to oversee how we organize and secure our data. You will ensure data is properly labelled (Public, Confidential, Restricted) before sharing with clients, and you will manage data classification tools while preparing reports for client reviews.

You will act as the primary technical contact for client audits, coordinate with IT and database teams to fix mislabels, and help demonstrate that client information

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of experience in data security, governance, or IT auditing.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Cybersecurity, CS, or related field.
• Experience with data governance tools and audits.
• Strong understanding of data labeling and confidentiality controls.

Responsibilities

• Label and organize data with appropriate security classifications.
• Manage data governance tools (Purview, IDMC, etc.) and tagging.
• Prepare client reviews with clear classification reports.
• Host audits and be the technical contact for clients.
• Address mislabelled files and fix security gaps with IT teams.
