Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive asset information management strategy, including a data governance framework to ensure data quality, accuracy, and security across departments and stakeholders.
- Oversee integration of data across multiple platforms (e.g., BIM, MAXIMO, GIS, etc.) to ensure a unified and accurate view of asset performance and management.
- Conduct in-depth analyses of asset data, maintenance needs, and lifecycle optimization, providing recommendations to improve efficiency and maximize asset value.
- Establish and enhance institutional processes to ensure data accuracy and quality throughout its lifecycle, including audits and validation mechanisms.
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and asset management teams to ensure seamless and reliable data flow supporting data-driven decision-making.
- Develop and manage real-time reporting tools and interactive dashboards for all assets, presenting simplified data insights for non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and methodologies in data science and asset information management, implementing innovative solutions to enhance asset value.
- Conduct awareness sessions and training for internal teams on best practices in asset information management.
- Ensure compliance with data governance regulations, internal policies, and security protocols to protect sensitive data related to tangible and intangible assets.
- Manage the Authority's intellectual property information, including patents, technical licenses, and systems; classify, monitor utilization, and submit reports accordingly.
Skills and Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Information Management, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Master's degree is preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in data management, analytics, or asset information systems, preferably within a large government entity, infrastructure, or transportation sector.
- Proven experience with data integration and management platforms such as BIM, MAXIMO, and GIS.
- Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing data governance frameworks and analytics solutions.
Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of data analytics tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools).
- Familiarity with data governance standards, lifecycle data management, and master data management (MDM).
- Understanding of asset management systems, maintenance planning, and performance tracking.
- Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and database management concepts.
