Al-Futtaim Group in Dubai seeks a Senior Data Scientist to lead development of advanced machine learning models for demand forecasting and pricing optimization, driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes GenAI, MLOps, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure data-driven solutions integrate smoothly across the business and Azure cloud environments. You will be part of Corporate Services within Group Tech & Dig Platforms.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative field is required.
• 10+ years in data science with 5+ years in demand forecasting, price optimization, and customer analytics.
• Hands-on experience with ARIMA, XGBoost, LSTM, and OR models.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Databricks, and cloud platforms (Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy demand forecasting models using traditional and ML techniques (ARIMA, XGBoost, LSTM).
• Leverage GenAI to enhance demand forecasting accuracy by simulating future demand scenarios.
• Implement dynamic pricing models to optimize pricing using demand, inventory, and competitor data.
• Analyze customer behavior with clustering and predict CLV to drive pricing strategies.
• Monitor and refine model performance using MAE, RMSE, and precision/recall metrics.
• Apply MLOps practices including version control, deployment pipelines, and automated testing.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and sales to align forecasts with business objectives.
• Deploy and scale models on Azure with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools.
