Raw Ventures is seeking a senior data scientist to own end-to-end data science work, from data gathering to model deployment and defending conclusions. You will collaborate directly with traders, deal economists, finance and founders, without intermediaries, and may mentor one or two junior data scientists.

This role focuses on a sector-wide scope with diverse assignments sourced from business stakeholders, emphasizing independence and impact across P&L and margin analyses.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in data science with senior ownership of your own workstreams.
• Oil & gas industry experience with delivered projects in trading, refining, logistics, storage or distribution.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end data science workstreams from data to model deployment.
• Work with traders, economists, finance and founders to defend conclusions.
• Translate vague business problems into research plans and actionable recommendations.
