Job summary

VPS Elite Human Resources Consultancies LLC is seeking a Senior Data Quality Engineer to drive enterprise data quality across the lakehouse, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, consistency and timeliness for analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

The role requires 4+ years in data quality/engineering/governance, advanced SQL, Python/PySpark, and strong data modelling skills, with Azure/Microsoft Fabric and PurviewMDM experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Engineering, Data Management or Data Governance.
• Strong hands-on experience in Data Profiling, DQ Rules, Validation, Reconciliation, Monitoring & Remediation.
• Advanced SQL – mandatory.
• Practical experience with Python / PySpark / Spark.
• Strong knowledge of Relational & Dimensional Data Modelling.
• Experience with Lakehouse / Medallion Architecture – Bronze, Silver & Gold.
• Experience with Azure / Microsoft Fabric preferred.
• Hands-on/working knowledge of Microsoft Purview and MDM platforms.
• Knowledge of Data Quality dimensions: Accuracy, Completeness, Validity, Consistency, Uniqueness, Timeliness & Referential Integrity.
• Experience implementing automated DQ controls within data pipelines.
• Strong experience in source‑to‑target reconciliation and root‑cause analysis.
• Knowledge of UAE PDPL, Dubai Data Law and DESC ISR.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Data Quality Engineer to drive enterprise data quality across the lakehouse, ensuring data is accurate, complete, consistent, valid, timely and fit for analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.

Mandatory to Have

• 4+ years of experience in Data Quality, Data Engineering, Data Management or Data Governance
• Strong hands‑on experience in Data Profiling, DQ Rules, Validation, Reconciliation, Monitoring & Remediation
• Advanced SQL – mandatory
• Practical experience with Python / PySpark / Spark
