Job summary

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) invites an experienced Senior Data Protection Specialist to design and oversee enterprise data governance, risk management, and related policy frameworks. The role spans governance, architecture alignment, and regulatory compliance across the ADNOC Group to ensure data quality, security, and value of digital assets.

The position requires a strong background in data governance practices, risk assessment, and stakeholder engagement with senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent. (Master degree is preferable).
• 10 years of experience in a major organization with governance, audit, and supervisory leadership.
• Knowledge of Digital Governance and Management Frameworks and practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data governance framework focusing on quality, security, and privacy.
• Establish policy frameworks for group-level data governance and management practices.
• Act as liaison between business, operations and technology to align data protection with priorities.
• Manage resources across business areas to meet objectives and resolve governance issues.
• Maintain inventory of enterprise information assets and owners.
• Facilitate adherence to data quality and protection standards across the enterprise.
• Define roles and responsibilities for data governance and accountability.
• Define Enterprise Architecture Information Principles and standards in annual assurance.
