Job summary

ADNOC is seeking an experienced Senior Data Protection Specialist to lead enterprise data governance, quality, security and protection strategies. You will drive policy development, cross-functional collaboration, and compliance with regulatory requirements across ADNOC Group.

The role emphasizes governance framework design, risk assessment, and coordinating with business and IT teams to ensure data assets are properly managed and protected. It requires strategic thinking and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or equivalent.
• Master degree preferable.
• 10 years of experience in a major organization with governance, data protection and supervisory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise data governance framework focusing on data quality, security and privacy.
• Establish policy and procedural frameworks for group level data governance and management.
• Liaise between business, operations and technology to define data protection requirements.
• Manage resources and resolve escalations related to data governance across the enterprise.
• Develop and maintain inventory of enterprise information assets and owners.
• Facilitate adoption of data quality and data protection standards across the organization.
• Define roles and responsibilities for data governance and ensure stewardship accountability.
