Job summary

Huspy is a leading property technology company in the UAE, building a global data-driven platform for real estate. We are hiring a Data Engineer to design and scale end-to-end data pipelines, including streaming and batch processes, and to own data infrastructure across Snowflake, Kafka, and AWS.

You will partner with analysts, product teams, and stakeholders to deliver reliable data products, enforce governance, and advance observability with testing and CI/CD for production-ready pipelines.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a Data Engineering role or Analytics Engineering with strong pipelines experience.
• Proficiency in Python for ETL, orchestration, and automation.
• Hands-on experience building DAGs and managing workflows in Airflow (or equivalent).
• Experience with event streaming systems (Kafka, Schema Registry) and batch pipelines.
• Practical experience with AWS services (S3, ECR, ECS, IAM).
• Strong SQL and data warehousing exposure (Snowflake preferred).

Responsibilities

• Design and Scale Data Pipelines: build and maintain batch and streaming pipelines to Snowflake.
• Work with Kafka and event-driven architectures to power real-time data products.
• Use Airflow to orchestrate workflows and automate dependencies.
• Leverage AWS tools to build scalable, containerized data services and optimize resources.
• Implement testing, monitoring, and alerting for data pipelines.
• Manage data infrastructure with IaC tools like Terraform, Helmfile, or CloudFormation.
• Improve throughput, latency, and cost efficiency as the platform scales.
• Apply data modeling fundamentals (Kimball, Data Vault) and enforce governance.
• Collaborate with analysts, business stakeholders, and product teams to deliver value.
• Develop CI/CD for data pipelines and automated deployments.
