Job summary

AtkinsRéalis in Abu Dhabi seeks a Technical Director Data Centres to act as the senior technical authority for multidisciplinary engineering on regional data centre projects. This role requires strategic direction, governance, and delivery across the project lifecycle, with emphasis on innovation and reliability.

You will lead high-profile pursuits, mentor teams, promote sustainability, and drive digital delivery while expanding the data centre market footprint in partnership with the Market

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical/electrical/building services engineering or related field.
Chartered Engineer status or equivalent recognized qualification.
20 years post-graduate experience in data centres or mission-critical projects.
Strong leadership and client-facing skills.

Responsibilities

Act as the highest technical authority for Data Centre projects.
Provide strategic technical direction for hyperscale, colocation, enterprise and edge Data Centre developments.
Lead reviews, design audits and independent verifications.
Drive digital engineering, BIM, and data-centric delivery approaches.
