Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Technical Director – Data Centres to lead technical direction across hyperscale, colocation, enterprise and edge Data Centre developments in the Middle East. You will govern design, ensure energy efficiency, and drive innovation while expanding the Data Centre market presence.

The role requires extensive leadership of multidisciplinary teams, strategic client engagement, and contribution to pursuit and bid activities.

Qualifications

20+ years post‑graduate experience in data centre or mission‑critical projects.
Proven leadership within an international consultancy.
Strong client-facing and stakeholder management experience.
Experience in work-winning and business development.

Responsibilities

Provide technical authority for Data Centre projects and approve major engineering strategies.
Lead design governance, peer reviews, audits and verification activities.
Drive digital engineering adoption (BIM, Digital Twin) and data-centric delivery.
Support regional market development, client engagement and thought leadership.
Lead technical input for strategic pursuits, bids and fee development.
Mentor engineering teams and drive capability development.
