Job summary

Ramboll in the UAE is seeking a Principal Mechanical Engineer to lead mission-critical data center cooling design, selection of DLC, chilled water plants, and BIM coordination. You will own end-to-end mechanical design for high-density AI deployments and mentor a growing DC mechanical team.

You’ll work within Ramboll’s Dubai operations to ensure Dubai Universal Blueprint for AI alignment, ZLD, and high-performance facilities, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Professional registration as Mechanical Engineer or equivalent.
• 8+ years of mechanical engineering experience, with 5+ years in data centre or mission-critical cooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead design for data center cooling systems and BOD/DBR development.
• Own end-to-end mechanical design from concept to IFC level.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Structural, Architectural and BIM teams across projects.
