Senior Data Center Ethernet Network Engineer

As a key member of the NVIDIA Infrastructure Specialist (NVIS) Solution Architecture team, your role involves leading the conception, development, and execution of advanced data center networks for NVIDIA customers within the Plan, Design, & Implement (PDI) framework. You will play a vital role in developing comprehensive technology solutions for our strategic clients in AI Factory, Cloud, and Enterprise data center domains. Additionally, you will identify areas for technological improvement, provide insights, and recommend strategies to marketing and engineering teams to enhance our product offerings.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing Ethernet expertise to customers during the sales cycle to design, architect, and test Ethernet networking solutions.
• Collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to support server infrastructure builds, accelerated computing workloads, and GPU-enabled AI applications.
• Developing and evaluating DevOps automation scripts for network operations, designing network architectures, and configuring switches.
• Implementing network deployment and validation tasks in data centers.

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in networking fundamentals, Ethernet switch configuration, TCP/IP stack understanding, and data center architecture.
• Experience engaging with clients for network requirement analysis, designing next-generation data center architectures, and validating through simulations.
• Hands-on experience with VXLAN-EVPN configuration and troubleshooting.
• Automation tooling experience (e.g., Ansible, Salt, Puppet).
• Proactive, independent worker capable of prioritizing tasks to improve technology and customer experience.
• B.Sc. in Engineering or CCNP certification (or equivalent experience).

Preferred qualifications:

• Interpersonal skills combined with technical competence.
• Linux certifications.
• Internetwork Expert (CCIE, JNCIE, ACE-E) certifications in Data Centers.
• Experience with CumulusOS.
• Infiniband certifications.
