Job summary

Damac Properties is seeking an experienced Electrical & ELV design engineer to lead detailed design efforts for data center projects, ensuring compliance with company guidelines, standards, local codes, and regulatory requirements while coordinating with engineering and project teams.

You will mentor junior engineers, perform sizing calculations, review specifications, and manage timely deliverables. Travel for site inspection and commissioning is expected as part of project execution.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in electrical & ELV systems design for data centers or similar facilities.
• Design experience and knowledge in Electrical design, small power CCTV, Fire Alarm, Access control, EPMS, Building Automation etc.
• Proficient with MS Office and AutoCAD/Revit software.
• Willingness to travel for site inspections and testing/commissioning activities.

Responsibilities

• Support detailed design of Electrical & ELV systems aligning with guidelines and standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and project teams to review designs, bids, scope, budget, and schedule.
• Lead a team of engineers to deliver projects on tight deadlines.
• Mentor junior engineers on design standards and best practices including the company’s guidelines.
• Prepare concept designs and perform option analyses with project teams and meet deadlines.
• Perform detailed engineering and sizing calculations.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders under the supervision of design manager and director.
• Be flexible and willing to take on multiple job roles simultaneously and meet deadlines.
