Job summary

EY Podnikatel Roku in Dubai is seeking a Senior Manager Data Architect to lead enterprise data architectures across government, financial services, energy, and retail sectors. You will architect scalable, secure data ecosystems and drive AI transformation while collaborating with C-suite and technical teams.

The role emphasizes governance, data platforms, and modern data patterns like data mesh and lakehouses, with leadership of a team of data engineers and solution architects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering or related field.
• 10 years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or information management.
• Proven experience with cloud-native data platforms (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, governance, security and privacy frameworks (GDPR, NDMO).
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in complex environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise and solution-level data architecture strategies.
• Design modern data platforms on cloud (data lakes/warehouses/lakehouses).
• Lead scalable data pipelines (batch/real-time) and data governance initiatives.
• Mentor data engineers and solution architects; contribute to reusable frameworks.
• Engage with C-suite and support pre-sales for data architecture solutions.
