Job summary

Emirates is seeking an accomplished leader for Senior Manager Enterprise Data Architecture to shape enterprise data strategy, standards, and platforms across Emirates Group IT. You will align data architecture with broader analytics strategy and mentor solution architects and teams to deliver scalable, secure data solutions.

You will drive governance, architecture runways, and define policies for data management, compliance, and cost-optimised deployments in a global aviation context.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or an equivalent IT-related discipline.
• 10+ years of experience in Information Technology and Enterprise Architecture across large-scale systems.
• 8+ years in defining technology strategies with enterprise-wide perspective, airline domain a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Java, cloud platforms, and low-code solutions.
• Familiarity with TOGAF, Zachman or modern EA frameworks; SAFe and Scrum knowledge.
• Experience with ArchiMate and UML modelling; cloud-native architectures.
• Ability to model business capabilities and value streams; excellent stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise IT standards and architectural principles aligned with strategy.
• Lead data architecture strategy, governance, and modernisation roadmaps.
• Coach solution architects and development teams for high performance.
• Oversee architecture across infrastructure, security, and platforms.
• Drive data and analytics governance, quality, and security policies.
• Influence stakeholders to apply architectural standards across the org.
• Guide investment decisions with TCO and cost-benefit analyses.
