Job summary

SWORD Group in the United Arab Emirates is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to design, build, and maintain enterprise BI solutions using Power BI. You will translate business needs into actionable dashboards and reports to drive data-driven decisions.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years as a Power BI Developer, strong SQL, SSAS/SSIS, and data modeling skills. You will collaborate across teams and work with cloud and on-premise data sources to enable scalable analytics.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
6–10 years of experience as a Power BI Developer with strong BI reporting.
Proven BI Developer experience and proficiency in DAX and data modeling.
Strong SQL skills, data warehousing, ETL concepts, and data visualization.
Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

Develop, design, and maintain BI reports and dashboards to support business needs.
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate into technical specs.
Create data models and data integration using SSAS/SSIS and SQL Server.
Work with on-premise and cloud data sources to deliver comprehensive BI solutions.
Train and support end-users on Power BI tools and reports.
Ensure data accuracy, validation, and performance improvements for BI solutions.
