Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking a Data & AI Engineer in Abu Dhabi to contribute across the end-to-end data development lifecycle. You will build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, develop web-scraping solutions, and model data to support analytics, BI, ML, and AI use cases.

You will collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams, enable self-service reporting, and help evolve cloud data architecture while adhering to governance and security practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience as a data engineer with Snowflake, Databricks, Azure, GCP and/or AWS.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience developing ETL/ELT pipelines using multiple technologies.
• Knowledge of SAP HANA data modelling is a plus.
• Experience with analytical frontend tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Exposure to ML/AI workflows and LLM-based pipelines.
• Minimum 5 years in a similar role.
• Collaborative and proactive problem solver with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Implement robust web scraping solutions.
• Model data using dimensional designs (star/snowflake).
• Contribute to cloud data architecture and governance.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analytics teams.
• Expose curated datasets for self-service reporting.
• Apply security, IAM, encryption, and monitoring practices.
• Participate in DevOps/CI-CD and code reviews.
