Senior Cybersecurity Engineer - Air Traffic Management

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

• Lead client engagements and provide global technical cybersecurity expertise.
• Lead and deliver cybersecurity design and integration projects, supporting consulting services such as architecture reviews, compliance/gap assessments, risk management, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, etc., for IT and OT environments.
• Provide cybersecurity expertise and produce relevant deliverables.
• Identify and address client needs, build relationships, communicate effectively, and prioritize tasks.
• Design and develop cybersecurity architectures for IT/OT systems and networks.
• Develop security designs, system and network architecture plans, security management, backup, recovery, and patch management strategies.
• Implement and test cybersecurity solutions like Anti-Malware, log management, identity management, VPN, application whitelist, backup, patch management, etc.
• Lead acceptance testing and produce testing reports.
• Support vulnerability assessments and penetration testing for IT/OT systems.
• Use and adapt risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments, ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and policies.
• Derive cybersecurity requirements and recommendations based on regulations.
• Conduct cybersecurity awareness and training sessions, and prepare training materials.
• Support project management activities, report progress, and ensure project delivery within scope, time, and quality standards.

Work Experience Requirements

• Over 15 years in Cyber and Information Security.
• At least 7 years in designing cybersecurity architectures and solutions (e.g., Firewalls, IDS, Endpoint Protection, SIEM, VPN, etc.).
• Minimum 5 years in cybersecurity consulting and services (framework development, audits, compliance, risk assessments, vulnerability testing).
• At least 3 years in OT environments, preferably in Aviation and Transportation sectors.
• Strong knowledge of international and regional standards (e.g., NESA, ISA/IEC 62443, ISO 27001, NIST).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualifications, Certifications & Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or Data Science.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, Red Hat, Microsoft, CISSP, CISM, GIAC, IEC 62443, CEH, etc.

Preferred

• Master's degree or equivalent in related fields.
• Experience in engineering, consulting, or professional services within aviation and OT environments.

Mandatory: Experience in Air Traffic Management is required.
