Job description

Support the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Credit Officer in planning the development of risk parameters.

Control the portfolio within the set risk parameters to ensure the risk profile is within risk tolerances.

Ensure credit approvals are within delegated authorities.

Assess the credit risk profile of the Corporate & Investment Banking portfolio, maintaining alignment with risk appetite.

Perform stress tests as required by internal and external factors, review results, and assess their implications.

Assist the Chief Credit Officer and Senior Credit Officer in exercising risk control responsibility for Credit Risk in the Corporate & Investment Banking businesses in UAE.

Ensure risk capabilities are objective, consistent, and compliant with applicable regulations.

Ensure the quality of Business Credit Applications (BCAs) meets Group standards, especially regarding completeness and depth of risk analysis.

Maintain a good understanding of external stakeholders' risk management requirements and ensure these are reflected internally.

Monitor compliance with Credit Policy and Portfolio Guidelines.

Assist with any input from Credit Risk to support the Chief Compliance & Regulatory Officer's office.
