Senior Craftsman

Job Responsibilities:

1. Completes assigned maintenance painting jobs with required standards.
2. Independently carries out minor painting jobs and planned maintenance painting activities as required.
3. Carries out effective maintenance tasks on various maintenance equipment as per the operating procedures.
4. Operates blasting and painting equipment for the maintenance painting jobs.
5. Acts as a team player and makes suggestions to improve shop services for internal customers.
6. Follows the safe working practices based on company’s safety rules and regulations to protect personnel, plant, and equipment.
7. Maintains good housekeeping in the assigned work area and keeps equipment and tools in clean, tidy, and safe conditions.
8. Coaches and guides National Trainees/TPRF personnel doing routine jobs in the shop.

Qualifications & Skills:

1. Minimum Qualifications: High school graduate or vocational graduate in industrial painting.
2. Minimum Experience: Minimum 3 years experience in Maintenance as an Industrial Painter.
3. Good basic knowledge in all painting equipment and techniques.
4. Skills: Good basic knowledge in types of industrial painting works and equipment.
5. Must possess a working knowledge of written and spoken English.
6. Written and verbal English communication skills.
7. Ability to read technical specifications for different paints.
