About The Role

Currie & Brown is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join our team in Dubai, in a client-facing capacity, working on various building projects.

The successful candidate will support project leaders in delivering high-quality service, achieving successful client outcomes, sharing knowledge across projects, fostering innovation, and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

What will you be doing?

  • Providing accurate cost advice and reporting to clients
  • Managing projects, commissions, and professional assignments
  • Setting objectives and priorities proactively, working effectively within a team
  • Maintaining clear communication to ensure project success; liaising with managers for financial control
  • Undertaking cost management services with minimal supervision
  • Ensuring all work is completed accurately and on time
  • Supporting team leaders in project cost management
  • Representing the company professionally; building strong client relationships through meetings, negotiations, and correspondence

What do you need?

  • BSc in Quantity Surveying or equivalent
  • Membership of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS)
  • Pre- or post-contract experience from a global consultancy
  • Experience with large developments (hospitality, leisure, residential, retail, etc.)
  • Middle East experience is preferred
  • Strong technical writing, client communication skills
  • Well-organized, diligent, proactive, assertive, disciplined, and commercially aware
