You will be directly reporting into the Associate Director that has been with the group for 10 Years. He is not only a very sharp surveyor he is a genuinely decent and fair character that likes to develop and grow his team. Are you a Cost Manager / Senior Cost Manager based in Europe seeking that first illusive expat posting or are you a Cost Manager in the MENA region ready to take that step to Senior Cost Manager ?

You will be handling the Cost Plan and Coordination for a Major Data / Technology Project in the United Arab Emirates. Don’t worry they won’t hire you and then try and relocate you to a remote camp in the Kingdom. You career and future will be very much firm in the 7 Emirates of the UAE!

We are seeking the following

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Quantity Surveying
• 7+ years’ post grad experience on large / complex construction projects such as Data, Stadia, Hospitals, Pharma & High Rise
• Self-starter with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously
• Pre-construction experience, taking projects from feasibility through to construction (RIBA Stage 1 to Stage 4)
• Experience in procuring contractors, suppliers and 3rd party consultants
• Cross-group collaborator and influencer across teams and organizations with proven success in participating in cross-functional teams to deliver on key projects
• Ability to lead, inspire & motivate
• Capable to advise clients / developers on a strategic level

Desired

BICSI RCDD, PMP or similar Experience preferred

Experience managing large scale enterprise projects with both localized and virtual teams

Must be able to work within a dynamic team of full-time employees and consultants

Client or Contractor side Datacenter construction or management experience a plus
